As a functional manager, I manage two designers from Revolut for retail customers. I am also involved in improving design function at Revolut (hiring, onboarding, design culture).
Before Revolut, I worked as a Product Designer at Yandex, the largest and most innovative tech company in Russia often referred to as ‘Russian Google’. I designed new compose and search for Yandex.Mail, mobile calendar and other things. Before focusing on product design, I worked for an agency in New York (Concentric Healthcare Experience) as a UI/UX Designer.
I am a self-taught designer who spent most of adult life writing — I was a journalist. I learned design taking some short courses at schools such as Parsons and School of Visual Arts in New York. I was lucky to meet some mentors along the way who helped me a lot and now I try to mentor junior designers myself.
